Limiting your costs when eating out
Eating out is one of the most enjoyable activities families, couples and friends do. It is a way that everybody
can bond with each other and eat a delicious meal. However, with the challenging economic times, people nowadays
have to be smart about on how they spend their money and this includes being practical about eating out. Of course everybody
wants to have a great time in a restaurant but there are ways to preserve the cheers while also preserving what's
left in your pocket.
If you want to save on eating out here are some tips to help you have a wonderful eating experience and
save your money and be practical.

BE FAMILIAR WITH THE RESTAURANT
As much as possible eat at a restaurant where you have eaten once if you plan to bring your family along. Try to
become familiar with what they serve especially their specialties. Certain restaurants have specialties and these
will involve how they prepare food and what type of food they are serving. Order the ones that they are best known
for spo as not to waste money on foods that aren't as delicious as the others. If you are in a Chinese restaurant
it is advisable to stick with the noodles and soups, while if you're eating in an American restaurant, steaks and
salads would be good to go.
LIMIT ORDERS AT FIRST
It is advisable to order dishes one or two at a time. Try to stick with the basic meal, in which you first order
the appetizer and a main dish. If you're eating with one or two people, don't order in bulk, as there is no
guarantee that you will finish everything. Just order the amount of food you think will be enough for all. Eating
too much will only give you a stomach ache and the leftovers will just be wasted along with your money.
For dishes, go with lots of rice and a couple of main dishes. Rice is a good extender and its possibly one of
the cheapest things on the menu. If you like to experiment, add some sauces in order to make different varieties.
This will make it look like you're having more than two dishes at the table, and will stop you from eating.
GO WITH WATER INSTEAD OF SODAS
Water is not
only healthy but is also practical, considering that restaurants serve it for free. A good restaurant will likely
serve water that has gone through a purification machine. Sodas are cool to drink but will make you feel full
immediately. You went to a restaurant to eat food not consume softdrinks.
